Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing building power and lighting systems for residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with safety, code, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage.
* Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
* Perform load calculations and ensure compliance with NEC, Title 24, and California Building Codes.
* Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines.
* Review submittals, conduct site visits, and provide construction administration support.
* Ensure energy-efficient and sustainable design practices.

Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
* Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in electrical design for residential or commercial building projects.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required.
* Licenses/Certifications: EIT required; PE license strongly preferred.
* Strong knowledge of NEC, Title 24, and California Building Codes.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
